You are not alone!
Emotional eating is a huge epidemic.
Eating satisfy emotional needs rather than to satisfy hunger.
Eating when triggered by stress emotion, anxiety, anger, lonely, sad, etc.
Feeling powerless to food.
A few steps you can do to help stop or subside the emotional eating:
1. Know your trigger emotions
2. Breathe deeply and sit with your emotion for 5 minutes before you eat
3. Have healthy snacks readily available such as nuts, apples, protein bars, etc. handy before you eat your trigger foods.
